In the Make Money from Home industry, as some of us call it, we continue to see business opportunities that run like a automatic vending machine on the internet. It's like seeing an advertisement and an informational website, liking what you see and joining without talking to a person.

Opportunities that have you Plug-In to their automated system is another term used in the industry where you simply join a well thought out plan and you use the materials they supply for you to run the business without much human contact.

I have written in the past about how you must be able to contact the sponsor and get the right answers in order to feel comfort in your not being scammed. The question therefore arises, "Considering the number of automated systems without apparent human contact do I still feel comfortable in the advice I have written?"

That is a good question for anyone to ask, because nobody wants to "be taken" and there are so many good opportunities found on the internet that a blanket statement like "you must be able to talk to the sponsor" is just a little short sighted, if taken out of context.

The meaning behind any statements I've made about needing to contact the sponsor is this. If you want to get the highest degree of comfort you must contact the sponsor. That does not mean all other opportunities are scams. In fact some of the best opportunities are as close to being fully automated as is possible.

So let me identify some things you should consider while making a decision when you have some but little way of contacting the sponsor and asking important questions. These considerations are pretty simplistic but if you're at all like me you can get pretty mixed up when looking at all of the opportunities to choose from and therefore simplification can be helpful.

1. How well put together is the information about the opportunity, may be a sign about how much thought was put into the business opportunity. Usually well thought out opportunities are signs of quality.

2. Are all of your questions answered in the sales websites and informational e-mails you read about the opportunity.

3. Are you able to "Google" the person responsible for the program and find good reviews and comments made about the product and the person. This is sometimes a hard one because there are those who write bad comments about good people and good opportunities. But it is worthwhile reading nonetheless as you should be able to decide for yourself if the comments are real.

4. In some cases you know the sponsors name and that may be good enough to know if they have conducted themselves with integrity on the internet in the past.

5. Is the price low enough that you would not loose any sleep if it did not happen to work out. Sometimes you like an opportunity so much that you feel it's worth a chance even though you can't contact anybody about the opportunity. Don't get me wrong here I'm not saying you should take a chance but the other questions and price point can help you decide the level of risk you are taking.

6. Does logic tell you that there is something wrong or right about the opportunity? The internet is a wide-open venue and there are few rules so sometimes you must use your gut feel along with the other items listed above that you should consider.

I found myself in the past and also know that there are others (usually new people considering making money online) that have a difficult time determining whether a business opportunity will be right for them. I have written many articles about this subject and there are many more than I have written that can give one ideas about this subject. I have given suggestions above in numbers 1 thru 6 that should give you an idea of how to look for a viable opportunity for you.

But if there is one single thing as important as anything else it is this. Do not be lazy, do your research. If you do the research, you will be taking into consideration warning signals as well as positive signs and have sufficient information for you to make an educated decision.

I know it gets a little frustrating when you work online to make money from home, and you make no money. Why shouldn't it be frustrating? particularly when you joined a program with expectations of making a mint. I mean I've started programs before where they practically guaranteed success only to find failure and frustration.

The fact still remains that you can make money online and there is usually a learning curve. Already I've use enough terms to mix the newbie up. It's not my intent but this underscores the fact that this is a whole industry and there are things to learn.

I have also found that if you are unwilling to do research the odds are not in your favor to become successful online. You can learn about all of the terms I expressed online through research. Get out and do it and if you implement what you learn and stick with it you'll be successful. Most successful and entrepreneurs will allow you to contact them to ask questions. But remember it's still going to be your ability to learn about what you are doing for you to become successful.

It's funny how things "pop to the top". I am in some good businesses to making money from the comfort of my home without having to deal with the rat race. Small or Larger Business to Make Money

As I continue to work with the online business community I have found that I continue to make money consistently with my smaller dollr items than with my bigger ticket items. Two of them for comparison. I have MyInternetbusiness in which you can begin at $495 and Trafficwave where you can begin at a mere $17.95. While I get more activity with the lower cost one I of course make more money with the higher cost one.

Some would think that it might be better to stay with the lower cost one/s because you get greater activity. I have found that this is a multiple streams of income kind of business so my feeling is to make sure you have multiple of the lower cost items and use the higher ticket items as well because they probably give you greater value in products and services.

Being associated with several Online "Make Money From Home" Programs has been a blessing to me. Online Marketing provides a terrific opportunity to eliminate the fear and difficulty of working as a traditional employee for someone who doesn't have the same goals for you as you do.

Once you do your proper research and find one or several online programs, my number one recommendation is to follow the leaders of the program and their system. This is of course based upon you finding a program that is legitimate and has help available for you.

Are you serious about making money online? Sounds like a stupid question, doesn't it, if you are looking for a way to make money from home?

Well, at first blush it is an empty questions, but when you consider the number of people who are looking but who don't go deep enough in their research of an opportunity to find out who they are dealing with, and how they are going to be guided in how to make money, then these people aren't taking it serious enough.

If you're relatively new to the make money from home business or if you've found it a little frustrating to break through and become successful, try to consider looking for and joining a plan that has an earn while you learn structure.

Had a persona ask me a question about my business at Passport to Wealth the other day that prompts me to clarify what I mean about doing your research befor joining a make money from home online business.

His questions were, how long did it take you to make money and how much do you make. While I think they are good questions I do feel that they are not the important questions. I think that in peoples zest to do their due diligence they miss the important points.

Before telling you the important points let me tell why how much somebody makes and how long it took to make money are not decision maker points. Marketing is the key to success and everybody has a different learning curve. And because somebody isn't makeing money doesn't address the important questions.

The most important questions are; How will I be mentored in the art of marketing online? What will that mentoring look like? How often will I have a learning session? How effective has the sponsor been who is the mentoring team's lead?

Hopefully you can concentrate on these issues to find yourself a home based business in which YOU can be successful.

Model Successful People To Make Money From Home

I have learned that the biggest source of failure to make money online whether it be in my Passport to Wealth business or any other honest and successful business structure is due to the lack of effective and truthful guidance. In the Online Marketing business guidance is reflected in mentoring

Several online businesses have very successful members who will provide excellent mentoring once you join their program.

With the goal in mind to find a mentor, insure that you talk to your potential sponsor in a business you are considering and get the feel for their responsiveness and find out if they can hook you up with a team of mentors or can mentor you themself.

It's not necessary that your sponsor be an expert and be wildly successful as long as they are associated with someone or even a team that is successful and expert and will include you in their mentoring.

Help Others To Make Money From Home

I read the following poem by an unknown author and was struck by the simplicity of feeling well inside and gaining success in life in general and in your online business spcifically. Very simply, whatever you're up to in life, give of yourself, of your substance or your pesonality, of your thougts, of your money if you can, of your help and assistance.

By giving, you eliminate stagnation and the world opens up to you even if just by a little bit each time you give. It's just as true in your online business life as it is in your personal life to have the attitude of providing oppotuinties for yor potential customers, instead of always thinking about how much you can accumulate. By having the attitude of providing for your prospects and helping them succeed, it will naturally come back to you in being successful in making money from home.

Smart to have goals, smart to think positive, smart to sef talk yourself into knowing you can do something, but if you still slefishly stagnate then all else seems to stall.

Every time I think about my happiness and success I am astounded at how important ones attitude is and how it needs to be worked on daily with thoughs similar to my comments about stagnation. I try to apply these princples in my home based business at Passport to Wealth and find when I do all of the work I do to succeed seems to go smoother.

Online Business Or Employment? No Contest

I was just thinking this morning about my former position at my daytime job and how I ended up leaving to join the Online Marketing ranks. I spent years and years loving that job and defining myself based upon that career. I didn't notice as time went on that I loved the job a lot more than the job loved me. That is simply to say that no matter how I asked it I couldn't get any advice from my superior about why things weren't going the direction I wanted them to go.

While I was still making a great income, I made the decision that life is too short for grown ups who know better to continue to repress and treat like a second class citizen. I think it's amazing how you can put yourself on the line for people and they end up kicking you in the face.

There is no need for this to happen. I was in a position that I counseled people against these kinds of things happening to them and lo and behold the same thing happened to me. I quit my outwardly excellent position in response to it all.

I wish it would have happened earlier. I wish I would have understood that there are alternatives. When you see things aren't going the right direction one should make choices for themselves and not stay loyal to people who are treating you poorly. By the way, I would never suggest that you in turn treat them back in a poor manner, simply research ond move on.

The online world to make money from home has changed everything as I now have my self respect back and don't have anybody disrespectfully breathing down my back. Anybody in who finds themself in a position where obvious disrespect is there, can and should seek out, by good honest research, a home based business, because more than not the hard work they put in will come back as a great reward rather than a kick in the face one can get from pompous employment figures.

I've written before about how important it is for them to research an online opportunity before they join. I did this research and found Passport to Wealth. There are excellent opportunities out there. Remember that who you join with (the people) is as important as the organization you join. Treat Your Online Opportunity Like A Business

I’ve often suggested that you must treat your online opportunity like a business before you’ll become successful and make money from home. And if you don’t treat it like a business then the rate of failure and loosing money is great. So it behooves a business opportunity prospect to consider what treating it like a business means.

Many assume that treating an online business opportunity like a business is nothing short of becoming a business expert. While becoming a business expert will give you a leg up on others who run an online business, it is not necessary to become a business expert to treat your online opportunity like a business.

In my experience most with my Passport to Wealth business I’ve found I’ll never become a business expert and have found that success online is still possible. So what are people meaning when they say treat it like a business?

If you will simply take it serious and follow just a few rules you will be doing what is necessary to increase the odds of your success and what I call “treating it like a business”.

The single most important thing to do is to do your research when you are a prospect of a business opportunity. This all by itself can make or break you. During your research ask and get answers to these questions: Know what you are really getting into. Understand what the opportunity entails. Know what systems they have in place to help you be successful. Understand that you can’t make money without effort. Understand what that effort is. Understand that you will need to market and that it may cost some money to market or at least it will take time to market. Learn all you can about online marketing. Understand that it’s very difficult to succeed at anything without support and assistance. Does the opportunity provide help and support?

Believe me simply being responsible as these suggestions and questions are doing will give you a leg up on those who don’t consider them, just like a person who becomes a business expert has a leg up on those who don’t become a business expert
