There are those that say to make consistent money online you need to avoid MLM's because they are pyramid schemes and it takes too many people to get involved to make any money. I agree that if you join a dishonest MLM that you will have problems.

But consider for a second that one of the things we are trying to avoid is not having enough money coming in on a monthly or other periodic basis like a salary or a retirement stipend.

One of the best ways to get that is through residual income that comes from MLM's. Once you've done the work and have a person on board under you then the money you get from that person keeps on coming in without you having to do further work. Of course you have to do further marketing to get future people underneath you.

Now some will say I don't want to do work. Well then regardless if it is an MLM or a direct marketing campaign or affiliate marketing of other peoples products you are going to have to do some work.

MLM's that are honest and associated with a solid long term company can provide you with great residual income if you will follow their rules and do the work.
