Don't pull down the shades to online success

"If a window of opportunity appears, don't pull down the shade." Written by the esteemed Tom Peters.

That is an insightful comment and one more "would be" online entrepreneurs need to internalize and not just read. When you consider that most people fail at online businesses I simply answer that it's the failures' own fault because for some odd reason people pull down the shade right when they have a good opportunity presented to them. Pulling down the shade is putting the blinders on so that you can justify failure because surely failure will come if you pull down the blinds of following the new plans instructions.

Put another way, for some odd reason people are unwilling to do what they are shown to do and still expect they will receive money from their new business. In many cases the new people won't even let the new business opportunity show them what to do. There is work to do when you join an online business and you're not going to get anything for nothing - so do the work they show you to do.

I think it's a crying shame that there are people who need to make money online but fail to do the things that will bring them success.

I have booming online business that I didn't pull the blinds down on and I attribute my success to that simple action of not pulling down the blinds. The business I am associated with is a highly successful venture with time and systems on their side and it is duplicable. And if you don't make money with it then you're not trying.

I am truely interested in the success of others and am amazed at the people who will join our program, buy our product, yet won't listen to the educational conference calls, won't take us up on our proven successful advertising methods, then end up doing what they want to do to advertise that has failed for them in the past and wonder why this plan doesn't work for them.

People! If you've researched, done your due diligence and are comfortable with the new plan you are starting (all this comes from finding an excellent opportunity), then jump in head first and do what the duplicable system tells you to do. You do this and you'll reap the rewards of online success and you don't do it and that simple act will doom you to failure.

How to Network Without Saying a Word

Networking is crucial to the successful marketing of a business. Many people, however, find it difficult to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger just to expand their business network. If you're a little on the shy side, here are some steps for networking without saying a word.

Step 1
Use your spare time and activities outside the home as a starting point for expanding your business network. Simply being around other people in the same comfortable environment can develop relationships.

Step 2
Participate in online forum discussions on relative topics and start a blog that relates to your business. It is often easier to say what you need to by using a keyboard rather than your voice.

Step 3
Write articles for magazines and information websites on topics relative to your business. To appeal to and get the attention of the local market, write letters to the editor of your local newspaper.

Step 4
Join local clubs and organizations that may or may not have anything to do with the type of product or service your business provides. Just being associated with them will help to get the word out about your business.

Step 5
Donate to local charities on behalf of your business and get involved in community service. Charitable gestures and helping others may develop a positive rapport for your business.

Get out there and get started and you’ll find it was a lot easier than you imagined and you’ll probably have some fun!

Are Schemeless MLM's Your Key To Success?

The Berry Tree is an MLM with legs (longevity) and a product people will never want to be without once they try it - 10 years of success verifies that. I'll write more in the future about The Berry Tree/Nutronix my favorite online business, but for today let me comment that you can make money online through automation.

Not everybody feels that they have what it takes to make money in an MLM (even though they really do) so let me tell you about automation and MLM's.

How about a fully automated business that, while it has support for you to ask questions and receive help, is completely online. You make money in this way:

1. First you join at a low price
2. Second, you're given websites and other tools
3. Third, you visit the website and it's detailed videos help you set up
4. Fourth, you visit the "how to market" section of your website back office and learn
5. Fifth you call and introduce yourself to up-line team members
5. Fifth, you apply your education using the website tools given to you
6. Sixth, you market and you get sales by people visiting your website where the telling and selling is conducted.

The only time you have to talk with people is if you supply your telephone number and they call you to inquire about what you've advertised. Personally I enjoy talking to people (but not selling people) so programs like the Berry Tree are good for me. But the type of program I've just described can be found online and they are a great way to go. Many people are making lots of money to fight the effects of inflation whether in this or other economy.

The Perfect Home Based Business Online

I've found the perfect home based business and have been working feverishly on identifying why it works when so many others don't. I'm talking about MLM's. Yes somewhat of a dirty word - unless you're with the right opportunity. Let me spell out what a "right opportunity" is to help you find a business that will allow you to retire from.

Don't get me wrong, I like start ups because of the immediate impact you can receive when it first starts, but my choice when looking for an opportunity to retire with, is one that has legs and with many years of experience so that you can eliminate the possibility of it ending and leaving you high and dry.

The next thing I look for is a high quality product that over time has been proven to be effective. In my humble opinion that perfect product should be consumable so people will continue to need and use it. A quality consumable product allows for people to join your business and not leave, because they learn to want and need the product.

It is imperative if you want to be successful that the compensation program runs well on all cylinders, meaning it has multiple phases to it that can create a huge income through yours and your teams building.

Talking about building, the compensation program must be structured so that everyone benefits from everyone else instead of the higher up people getting all of the benefits.

We live in automated times and the way to go now-a-days is to insure that as you recommend people to your business that the system does the telling and selling with website presentations so that you and not only the super sales people can bring in interested people.

You find a company like this and your failure will only be because of you not willing to do a little work.

Longevity and Product Help Make Money At Home

I wrote an article in an attempt to give advise to people who are struggling to make money online and to make money at home. The article speaks to the importance of finding a program that is well established with a good underlying product. Here are some excerpts from that article.

Contrary to the beliefs of some it definitely helps to join a plan that is well established and has been successful and for a long time. You may be one who likes start ups but believe me if you’re not a guru at marketing you are going to be one of the many that make the guru’s rich at your expense. If you think that older more established plans have saturated the market and therefore are not right for you, then think again because there is plenty of room for everyone to make money at home and from the internet. The advantage to an established opportunity is that they have, through trial and error, found what works and doesn’t work for you.

Lastly and importantly, find an opportunity that has a product you can become passionate about. I don’t care if it is a digital product or a hard product, you absolutely must be passionate about it. If you are passionate about the product, and all the other things I’ve discussed are in place you will have the incentive to stick with your plan if you have passion about the underlying product.

Success Oriented Mindset to Make Money at Home

I like as often as possible to read and hear something positive and forward looking each day so that I can take the appropriate successful attitude into anything that I undertake that day. To do justice to those of you who know and understand that long salescopy isn’t always the answer to your website writing, I wanted to address when short copy makes more sense. In other articles discussing how to make money online, I pointed out that long salescopy should be used when you are selling one individual product, service or make money online program. I also emphasized that long salescopy should be used particularly when you have a service to sell.

Here I want to point out that there definitely is a place for short salescopy. There are a few circumstances where using short salescopy will assist you better to bring customers to the point of sale and hopefully as a result make money online fast or at least faster than if you were not to use short salescopy. By the way, I’d love to be able to say that you can make easy money online using short sales copy, but making money online fast or slow or any other way has more to do with all of the marketing methods you employ, not just short or long sales copy.

Back to short salescopy. When should you use it? Generally you should use short sales copy when you have many products to sell that fit into different categories. Think about it for a minute why would that be the case? You may consider that you simply want to make money online, why would it be better to use short sales copy if you are selling many products. What first comes to mind should be, how on earth do I write and make sense of all of the different reasons and benefits of buying several different products. You would simply mix the reader up by using long salescopy. If your reader is mixed up then there is little chance of making money online because they will not be able have confidence enough to click the button and buy.

Even if you thought that you could simply have a long salescopy separate and individual for each product, it’s not feasible that you’d ever make money online because you’d probably never finish your writing. Writing 10 pages for each product is a daunting task. You want to make money online as soon as you can and you need to get started as soon as you can. Attempting to write long salescopy wouldn’t work. Wanting to make steady money online and as soon as you can, when you are selling a variety of products, lends itself to having to write salessopy but not long salescopy.

This in no way implies that you shouldn’t write salescopy. In the instance of selling many products, it means you need to shorten it up and lead the visitor through the same sales process as found in long salescopy but in a less daunting way. This you can learn as well as when there is a call to learn long salescopy. Or professionals can write it for you.
